About

REPLICATE-CER supports foundational work toward theory building in CER by organizing coordinated, multi-site replication studies on open questions. Our model:

  1. Topic Selection & SLR – choose a high-impact topic and publish a systematic review.
  2. Replication Design Team (RDT) – ~5 researchers co-design a robust replication package.
  3. Replication Participants (RP) – ~20 instructors/researchers run the study in their contexts.
  4. Baseline → Intervention → Meta-analysis – standardized data collection and pooled analysis.
  5. Dissemination – preregistration, de-identified datasets (as permitted), papers, and guidance.

We emphasize equity-enabling practices, recruiting participants across institution types (including MSIs, community colleges, and liberal arts institutions) to understand where and for whom interventions work.
